India’s Pulse: Key Coverage by Outlook India at Paris Paralympics 2024: Official Anthem for Para Athletes Unveiled.
On Friday, the Indian Paralympic contingent
received a grand send-off ahead of the Paris Games, which will take place from
August 28 to September 8. The ceremony, hosted by the Paralympic Committee of
India (PCI) and the Sports Authority of India (SAI), celebrated the 84 athletes
representing India in 12 disciplines, including archery, athletics, badminton,
canoeing, cycling, blind judo, powerlifting, rowing, shooting, swimming, table
tennis, and taekwondo.
Adding to the excitement, the para athletes were
energized by a special anthem titled ‘Macha Dhoom,’ created by music directors
Vivek-Abhishek. The 3-minute and 16-second anthem serves as an inspiring call
to action, encouraging the athletes to aim for Olympic glory as they head to
