Born and raised in Sikar, Rajasthan, Mona’s life took a challenging turn when she contracted the polio virus at just nine months after birth, affecting both her lower limbs. Mona, within a short span of time, has made a significant impact, earning her first World Cup gold medal in 2024, along with an Asian record and a Paralympic quota after starting her journey in the sport in 2021.
