Jhajharia acknowledged the significant boost in morale among para-athletes due
to the growing support from various corporates. This backing comes at a crucial
time as India prepares to send its largest-ever contingent to the Paralympics,
featuring 84 athletes across 12 sports, including archery, athletics,
badminton, canoeing, cycling, blind judo, powerlifting, rowing, shooting,
swimming, table tennis, and taekwondo. The games, beginning on August 28, are
set to highlight the remarkable skills and commitment of India’s para-athletes.
